Perfect for what we wanted to do.
Sometimes we didn’t have much hot water. Not a problem in the heat but perhaps in winter ? We found it difficult to completely close the French windows. Perhaps a colander and a vegetable peeler would be helpful ? Perhaps leave 2 spare bin bags for guests ? Only minor details which didn’t in any way negatively affect our stay !

We booked The Lodge based on previous reviews and weren’t disappointed. The property had a homely feel, was superbly presented and had an open plan kitchen/living area that coped easily with 6 adults. There’s lots of outside space which we appreciated, with views of the hills in the distance. It’s easily accessible but in a lovely quiet spot. The hosts were welcoming and communication was excellent. Highly recommended.
It’s a first world problem but we missed a cafetière! It was an easy drive to a Costa drive through though!

Beautiful place surrounded by the sweetest animals. Comfortable house with outdoor space, fully equipped with everything you need. Excellent communication.

Fantastic setting on a lovely well looked after farm. Absolutely stunning interior and clearly a well loved property.
