We recently stayed in this beautiful 4-bedroom Andalusian villa in Marbella and were overall happy with the property. The villa was as described—comfortable, well-located, and met our expectations in terms of amenities and style.
however, our experience was unfortunately affected by a serious issue with communication and the return of our deposit. After checking out, the owner/manager held our €800 deposit for 11 days with no explanation. Despite multiple reminders, only €300 was returned — again, without any communication regarding the remaining amount. This lack of transparency and accountability was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
In the end, we had no choice but to file a claim through Booking.com, whose customer service was thankfully excellent and supportive throughout the process.
We hope the villa management improves their handling of guest deposits, as the property itself truly deserves better representation.
