Loved the garden which gave welcome respite from the hot afternoons. The apartment is well equipped and reflects the era of it's construction by Elisa Bonaparte, Nelson's eldest sister. High rooms and some ornate features. Cool interior with an air conditioning unit in the bedroom (which was noisy so couldn't be used at night).
Bedroom was gloomy as the only window has been covered, presumably to prevent guests seeing into the adjacent property.
