Perfect for what we needed

Everything, the property was secure and very big!

Just needed a few more mugs for cups of tea in the morning 😂

Clean and comfortable.

Did pretty much as it said on the "tin" - as we had hoped and expected.

We were a group of 6 - any more and we might have had a few issues with enough plates, cups, glasses ect. This is not the owners fault, just a comment. We were all aware of a strong smell of stale smoke, I imagine a previous tenant had not followed the house rules regarding no smoking inside. Even our PJs stank when we got home. As I say not something the owners would have had any control of until previous tenants had left .... but maybe a wee heads-up or acknowledgement from owners prior to arrival would not have gone a miss.

Our stay at this guest house was extremely disappointing. The main issues we experienced were:Rude and unwelcoming hosts, who created an uncomfortable atmosphere.Cleaners who were impolite and unprofessional, Being treated unfairly because of my disabilities and health conditions, with no effort made to understand or accommodate my needs. Chocolate left in the cupboards, showing poor attention to cleanliness. One of the toilets had urine left in it. Bathroom carpets with mould and urine stains, which was both unhygienic and unpleasant.Towels provided were very rough and uncomfortable to use.Overall poor standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the property.A general lack of care or attention to guests’ comfort.Hospitality should make you feel valued and relaxed, but sadly this guest house did the opposite. We left feeling stressed, disappointed, and relieved our stay was over.

Great place, would recommend and stay again

House was clean and had more than enough space for us for our stay. The communication from owners was superb and the location on the estate was nice a quiet with fields out to the rear.

On the whole, it's a really great place. Some of the accessories need attention, such as the lounge curtain pole.

The property was a good size and we enjoyed our stay. There were a few issues with the property sych ad the two uncomfor

It was a good size. The property was very clean. The master bedroom was fantastic. The bed linen and pillows were of a good quality. The three bathrooms were great. Lovely enclosed outdoor space.

Damp smell as you walked in. The two smaller bedroom’s beds were very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs through the mattress in the smaller double. Marks on the carpet near all three toilets. The lounge was comfy but not all seven members of the party could sit comfortably. Had to use a chair from the dinning room. Difficult to sit seven people around the dinning table as there were only six chairs.

Honestly the most superb house I have been to in the north is absolutely stunning

Make sure you know how to use all facilities and ask the owners any questions really helpful and informative and willing to help by any means. They made me feel at home lovely people
