CAYLA Private Residence

CAYLA was everything we hoped for and more. The property is serene, incredibly spacious, and deeply private. It was perfect for our 28-night stay. Coming from Dubai, we appreciated how peaceful and removed it was from the noise of the city. The rooms are massive, the design is thoughtful, and the surroundings are truly rejuvenating. It felt like our own personal retreat. The view from the balcony is beyond me!!! We also want to thank Tommy, who was our point of contact throughout our stay. He organized everything and made sure we were always taken care of. He was responsive, kind, and incredibly helpful. He shared tips - especially where’s the best Thai Massage! Chiang Mai itself was a dream. We have been to Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, and Krabi, but Chiang Mai tops them all. It offers a completely different kind of Thailand that is calm, grounded, and naturally beautiful. If you are looking for tranquility, high-end and a place to stay long term, this is it. Do not hesitate and book this place.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It is farther from the city center, but that was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to be away from the chaos, and this location gave us that peace.

We stayed in Moss B1. The location of the residences is superb. We were worried about it being a bit too far out of the city center, but you have everything you need around (and it’s much more beautiful than the Old Town!) The architecture is magical. The apartment fitted with everything you need, and with a modern and luxurious feel. We absolutely loved our time at Cayla, and an extra thanks to Pim for helping us out with anything we needed.

The residence is not quite as private as you might expect in the sense that staff is often walking around the grounds: it was not super comfortable to hang out on the terrace as folks were often there cleaning and such. It wasn’t a big problem, but a bit annoying at times. Also, we didn’t realize when bookibg, but it is actually someone’s personal home. So there’s a bit of personal stuff lying around. Not a problem neither, but it would have been good to know. There is no cleaning included, but I’m sure that the Cayla team could help you with that, if necessary:)
