2 bedroom house in central Windsor - The Town

We really struggled to find the location in the first instance. Once we finally found it we realised we were at the rear of the property and were not allowed to park. I walked all bags aroumd to the front were I was greeted by Johanna - my wife in the meantime went looking for Public parking nearby - this cost nearly £20 for 1 nigjt. We paid extra £40 to check in at 2pm instead of 4 pm as we wanted to get out to see a bit of Windsor before race meeting at Windsor followed by Madness concert. The 2 bedrooms are accessed by a very tight spiral staircase which we found daunting - but prob just our age !! For some reason when the second step was trodden on a very sharp pinging noise sounded.

Close to town. Games and books provided. Kitchen well equipped. Check-in easy. Complementary tea/coffee and biscuits -lovely touch!

Lack of sofa to get comfy late at night/first thing in the morning, and a TV would have been nice.

Perfect location. Very spacious. Kitchen facilities were really good. Bathroom large and clean.

Washing machine was broken and couldn’t be used. Missing a couch to relax on. Would be tough to stay here more than a few days with nowhere to sit down. Also no privacy from the neighbours

It was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The stairs were very steep and we all found our selves feeling very uncomfortable using them. There was not real seating area other than two uncomfortable kitchen chairs. There was a six seater dinner table with five wooden chairs but no comfortable seating after a long day walking out and about in Windsor. I didn’t pay much attention to the list of amenities available when booking which was a mistake and something I will never do again, there was no TV which was a surprise, no parking and the access to the property was difficult to find. There were no cleaning products and limited glasses etc. for one night it was ok but any longer it would have been quite uncomfortable.
