Old Lock-keeper's Cottage

Cosy cottage in the perfect location. So picturesque that day trippers were photographing it! Clean, comfortable and with everything you need for your stay. It overlooks the locks, minutes walk to everything that Fort Augustus has to offer (shops, pubs and restaurants, the Loch Ness boat trip base). It's also a great base for reaching Fort William, Inverness, Dunmadrochit, Dores Beach and so on. While still being quiet and peaceful. Would thoroughly recommend this place and we hope to return at some point.

Well, the weather's always a bit dodgy in Scotland! Though we were lucky and had a mix of sun and cloud with little rain. Nothing not to like about this place.

Bathroom was a bit outdated. Not enough flow of hot water in the shower.

La casa es un muy comoda y hogareña, es antigua pero esta muy bien acondicionada, estuvimos muy comodos , el pequeño pueblo es precioso y es una base perfecta para visitar las Highlands , volveremos!

Нам очень понравилось! Прекрасно что было 2 туалета, внизу и наверху. В одной спальне 2 кровати что очень понравилось детям. Прекрасная гостиная внизу и отдельная кухня! Есть машинка для стирки и для сушки. Расположение прямо на канале! Каждое утро в окнах идёт новый корабль. Все было великолепно! Мы хотим приехать ещё ! Спасибо!
