Central Serene Condo King Bed by MIT Harvard GYM

Superb location. Nice spacious light apt with great views. Overall fantastic but see below. And at this price, you'd expect better communication/instructions

1. Delay in getting instructions; had to contact the owner. The app and door code were a colossal hassle - and insufficient instructions. Once we got the app to work and figured out the system, it was easy. But more timely and thorough instructions would have saved plenty of frustration. The system requires a phone with reception. No card options. Once you have the app and gone through the hassle of multiple passwords, you CAN use a code you press on the door lock - except the door lock had very poor touch sensitivity 2. Zero instructions in the apt; operating the thermostat was the biggest hassle. Even after looking up Nest instructions online, the thermostat did not act as expected: 3. The HVAC system sucks; cold air blows across the seating area, the fan is super loud. Once you figure out how to turn off the thermostat, it takes as long as 10 minutes for the fan to stop. In the meantime, you wonder if the thermostat just does not work 4. The dryer is just as horrible; Even noisier than the HVAC fan. And good luck getting it to dry your clothes. Shut down by itself every few minutes. Advice: Use only TIMED option (which did not always work either)

Fabulous apartment!

The app was really hard to manage, but probably me. The building was super nice.
