It was a modern building but retained a lot of the original silk mill.
Lifts werent working so had to walk up 2 flights of stairs...good cardio though :)

Very roomy apartment. Enjoyed the fact it was once an old mill and how it had been upgraded to apartments. Freddie, who met us at the building, was very pleasant and welcoming.
As a host myself, there were several things which I would have done differently. Only one, partial toilet roll was provided, so we had to purchase our own, as we did with tea and coffee. The TV was not connected to any satellite or wifi channels. The kitchen units were in need of some repair (door missing) and tidying.

It was in a quiet area and plenty of parking around. Location was quite good.
Could have better beds...for two adults sleeping in a bed wasn't good as there were small beds. Every spring you could feel. Better lighting in the apartment as we were finding it hard looking for things as lighting was bad. The heating came on even though we tried switching it off. Too many buttons and nothing was connected to it. Was clean and good overall.
