I stayed at Budgetel Inns & Suites Augusta Downtown for one night and honestly, it was better than I expected. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I had everything I needed—TV, Wi-Fi, a decent bathroom, and even a little desk area to get some work done.
It’s not a luxury hotel, but for the price, it definitely gets the job done. Check-in was easy, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. The location is also convenient—just a short drive from the downtown area and not far from the Augusta National Golf Course.
If you’re looking for something affordable and simple while you’re in town, this place works. I’d stay here again if I needed a quick, budget-friendly spot in Augusta.

I liked the affordability without sacrificing cleanliness or comfort. The bed was cozy, the water pressure in the shower was great, and there was a mini-fridge and microwave in the room perfect for a longer stay. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was a big plus for getting work done.
The only minor issue was that the breakfast was not Included, but for the price point, I didn’t expect much and there were plenty of food options nearby.
