Overall, thanks to the compact size of the city, the transfer from the railway station to the hotel is short, taking roughly 15 minutes. The reception staff are able to communicate adequately in English, and when something cannot be conveyed through simple English, they take the initiative to handle the matter in person.
The room was on the small side, with the bed taking up about 80% of the space. Although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, I could clearly smell cigarette smoke. The drawer on my nightstand was broken and wouldn't close properly. The breakfast was local-style but lacked variety. Also, most of the hotel signage was not in English, which made things a bit inconvenient.
