Even though the location was not super central we appreciated our stay and we felt safe enough to walk to and from the main street at night. The place was clean and easy to find, enough space for 2 people and free parking right in front of the house. The host was extremely responsive and immediately solved a couple of minor issues we faced, providing us a great service.
The dining area is a bit stretched in terms of usable surfaces. As it doesn't have a proper kitchen, we appreciated the presence of kitchen appliances but it was difficult to use them as the was no space to take them out. Not ok if you want to cook but enough for a quick breakfast.

Clean, bright, good wifi, great downtown location, had everything we needed for an overnight (including coffee!), very good value.
Just some small things: Would have liked to have the wifi code provided by default; a top sheet on the bed (there is just a duvet); bed moved just a bit further from the wall so 2d person could get in on that side.

It was good value and 7 minutes drive to the lake
Seven minutes from the lake and easy on the wallet — for a quick overnight in Kingston, it does the job.
That said, the host wasn’t very responsive to questions before arrival, though check-in instructions came through fine. We also found a centipede in the apartment — I flagged it and the host acknowledged it, so hopefully a one-off.
Go in with realistic expectations and you won’t be too disappointed.
