Our favourite Sicilian stay! Absolutely beautiful house set in the hills with far reaching views across olive groves and vineyards from a very spacious balcony. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Wonderful owners who tried their hardest to make every aspect of our stay as good as it could be. They had little English but went out of their way to translate everything as best they could, sharing information about the house and their renewable energy business. Breakfast was just amazing, everything you could wish for and a lot was home baked, so much food! Delicious pastries and biscuits were available at all times of day along with drinks. The owners were around all the time with big smiles to welcome you. We chose to take back wine and cheese to eat on the balcony rather than eat out in the evenings because it was so beautiful. We left with a kind gift - some home produced olive oil knowing that we would return in a heartbeat!
