Great option for a short stay

The location is great, just two blocks from Santo Domingo Cathedral and among cute and relatively quiet streets. There's free street parking in front of the property. The property felt very newly-renovated and super clean. We were three people and stayed for just one night and we fit comfortably, but I think you might be pushing it with four people and/or staying for more than a few nights. The owner was very accessible via messages and communication with him was easy.

My mom slept on the sleeper couch in the living room and woke up freezing because the front doors have big gaps all around them even when fully shut -- we visited at the beginning of January 2026 and it's been unseasonably cold, but that detail with the doors didn't help. There was quite a lot of road noise especially in the early AM, which wasn't so noticeable in the bedroom with the doors shut, but in the living room it was noisy since the front doors open directly to the street. The property owners might consider buying a longer shower curtain since the water splashes all over the floor when showering.

Kitchen was well equipped. Bed was comfy. Everything felt new and clean.

Soooo dark, needs a window or 2. Host was a little disorganized getting us a new gas bottle on arrival so we couldn't cook for the first day and a half.

A Love-Mostly Hate Accommodation

The modern facilities. Nice bed, nice sofa, nice layout. It could be lived in long term if the hosts would communicate better and finalize many necessary finishing touches.

Loft Oros is possibly going through growing pains and has a lot to be desired. Basically the communication when things were needed was very bad. My WhatsApp messages which the host asked for weren't always answered. In my 7 nights there, nobody cane to clean, not even to empty the garbage bin nor the toilet paper bin, and I did ask them to come. They answered late and then never came. The check-in introduction was not complete, and I had to sleep with the lights on for 3 nights because I did not know there was a special switch which was hidden behind extra pillows. And more... I had a whole list like no kitchen towels, only 1 towel for the bathroom for the whole week, no floor mat of any kind, and no extra blanket. And more++++. It's a nice livable accommodation, but definitely lacking at this point. The host never even sent me a message when it was my day/time to check-out. I just left the keys and shut the door. I messaged him later that day that I left the keys and where to find them next to the TV.

Casa limpia, buena ubicación, instalaciones adecuadas. El host siempre estuvo al pendiente.

Solo podría mejorar el aire acondicionado que no funcionaba del todo bien y como pegaba el solo de frente en la propiedad, se necesitaba en algunos horarios.

La Ubicacion a 2 cuadras de Santo Domingo.

la persona que te recibe muy mal preparada le pregunte por mi reserva y me dijo que ahi no era y que no sabia, la puerta se traba y no abre cuando le pega el sol, el clima muy escandaloso y el precio no es acorde al servicio ahi opciones mucho mejores y mas baratas.

Pésima Experiencia

Al llegar tenía unos carteles afuera de la casa de obra suspendida , marcamos unas 10 veces mínimo y nunca contestaron hasta que me comuniqué a Booking ellos me dieron respuesta que buscarían a la persona encargada del lugar y si me Contactó y me dijo que si quería el lugar me lo daban pero hasta las 7 pm nosotros llegamos a las 3 exacto a esa hora haríamos el check in y pues nos cambió todo el plan , total de mal gusto hacer eso me molestó aún así le dije que si era seguro yo lo aceptaría si me daban el lugar a las 7 y me dejó de responder , me llegó un correo por booking que el dueño del lugar cancelaba y al momento tuvimos que buscar otras opciones ni hablar solo Lara que lo tengan en cuenta , pésima experiencia 😞
