Tastefully decorated, compact apartment, comfortable beds. Had to climb narrow steep stairs up to the loft bed but we were ok. Kitchen was well-equipped with pots and pans.
I did not appreciate the owner imposing a £15 cleaning fee right after I booked and paid for the apartment. It’s nowhere on the listing and this should be transparent. There was a dishwasher but no dishwasher tablets provided. I’d suggest the owner to provide all necessary cleaning materials since he insists that guests should thoroughly clean up his apartment before leaving - including removal of sheets, disposing of trash, vacuuming the floor.
Overall the apartment is not very well insulated and we could feel the walls were cold. If the heater was not blowing directly at us, we would feel cold. Toilet was small but very cold.
