Sambo White House Hikkaduwa - 5BD Entire Villa

We had a wonderful stay at Sambo White House. The interior was well-designed, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The villa is located in a quiet area, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. Privacy was a big plus—it truly felt like our own space. The highlight for us was the 5ft deep, 30m × 10m pool, which was well-maintained and perfect for a refreshing swim. Additionally, we prepared our own meals, as the villa provided all the necessary kitchen facilities. Overall, a great place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended for those looking for a private and peaceful retreat

1️⃣ BBQ Facilities Not Maintained – The charcoal BBQ machine was very rusty. Although the cleaning lady offered to clean it, this should have been done before our arrival. The electric BBQ had an electrical shortage, which was disappointing as we had planned a BBQ party. 2️⃣ Cleanliness Issues – We found animal droppings on the balcony, and it had not been cleaned. Overall cleaning should be done properly before guests arrive. 3️⃣ Bathroom Hygiene – Used soap was left in the bathroom, which was unpleasant. Proper bathroom cleaning and fresh toiletries should be ensured for new guests. While we enjoyed the atmosphere and interior, these maintenance and hygiene issues need improvement.
