The fixtures in the room were excellent, the worktop was a sensible size for doing things on. the WiFi was superb, it looked as though it was a dedicated router for our romm.

Proximity to my brother’s house and ease of access. Friendly bar staff and check in check out routine. Fruit and tea/coffee was much appreciated.

There was a strange smell in the bathroom - maybe chemical tablets in the drain? The breakfast was a bit stale and unhealthy. A porridge pot might be nice.

Lovely warm room. Good shower and lit mirror above the sink. Decent hairdryer! Lots of sockets near the bedroom mirror. Great continental breakfast. Really friendly staff and fabulous food in the pub. Would stay again!

Enjoyable stay for a nearby wedding

Met by a really lovely lady who took us to our room personally. The area has alot of wildlife which I loved. Room clean and good size with everything we needed. Bed really comfortable

A great night away to attend a meeting in Cottingham

Even though the pub is on a busy road the accommodation is much further back so we didn’t hear the traffic

Couple night away.

The staff were helpful and informative about the local area. The pub was excellent and the room was well equipped. The fridge in the room was so appreciated for cold drinks etc.

Unfortunately we stayed in one of England's hottest days so the room really needed a fan as there were only a top window that opened.

Lovely stay in The Ships Quarters.

Lovely old characterful pub. Warm welcome. Friendly staff. Meals; pub grub, freshly made, served hot, good portion size & value for money. Purpose built accommodation at the back, clean & well maintained. Large outdoor green space, overlooking fields. Great location for Beverley & beyond. One mile away from a large retail park with multiple shopping facilities. As we are regularly in Beverley we have booked two more stays at The Ship Inn.

Could use a seating area, eg., 2 chairs in the room we stayed in.

The welcome was very warm. We were shown to our room and told everything we needed to know. The staff here really are great. We had drinks in the beer garden which was lovely.

A convenient comfortable and reasonable priced stopover on our route further north

The continental breakfast, served in the room, provided good value for money, and made it easier to get away quickly in the morning, as did the key deposit box, thus avoiding queuing at a reception desk. The room was immaculate. We enjoyed the evening bar meal in the cosy surroundings. Plenty of parking on site.

The disadvantage of the prepacked continental breakfast was that there was no choice and it was, for our tastes, rather sweet. It also meant you didn't engage with any staff, so a bit impersonal. A minor inconvenience was that google maps said we had arrived at our destination at another pub (with similar coloured rendering on the walls) down the road!

Disapointing - not what was promised on the description

Did not live up to the description - clean and bed comfy but souless , a mix of trying to be luxury and low end - shower curtain and bad bath panel but nice tiles …. ‘Garden view’ was 2 metres of grass , 2metre hedge and people wandering past to get work stuff …. Continental breakfast promised was an already in the room pan chocolat , banana , yoghurt and cereal 🙁

Warm, friendly, peaceful relaxing place to stay.

Really lovely lady behind bar gave us a warm welcome. The room was perfect, bed really comfortable, outside view a field with cute bunnies and chickens wandering around. The continental breakfast was perfect and I preferred it to sitting down to a cooked breakfast. The pub is really nice but we only stayed for a drink. I would definitely stay again, regular buses straight into Beverley, very peaceful and I was very happy with our stay. Excellent business 👏

Fijn verblijf vlakbij boot overtocht Hull Nederland

Hotelkamers zijn begane grond als een soort van huisje met je eigen voordeur. Parkeren kan vlak voor de deur, bij het hotel. Grote bedden, badkamer is wat verouderd met douchen in bad en douchegordijn. Koffie- en theezet mogelijkheid, koekjes.

Er was continentaal ontbijt op de kamer, dat staat gelijk klaar wanneer je incheckt. Dat is op zich prima, maar wat wel fijn zou zijn is een tafeltje en 2 stoelen, nu moet je een beetje hannesen op het bed met je ontbijt. En er is ruimte zat in de kamer.
