Welcome to The Railway Getaway, a one-of-a-kind vacation rental offering a unique blend of history and comfort. This fully renovated caboose features charming vintage touches that evoke the golden age of rail travel while providing modern amenities for a cozy and relaxing stay.
Step inside and be greeted by red velvet accents, original railway details, and plush furnishings designed for comfort. The caboose is equipped with a comfy queen-sized bed, a quaint sitting area, and a mini kitchenette perfect for preparing light meals. There are two loft-like areas in the middle of the caboose with big windows. Great for reading or gazing.
A few steps away, you'll find a beautifully designed private bathroom / laundry room in a separate building, offering modern fixtures and a spacious shower, maintaining the balance between rustic charm and contemporary convenience. Despite that, there is a tiny bathroom inside the caboose for your comfort. There is a beautiful deck on the side to enjoy the sunshine.
Nestled in a serene woodsy setting, this unique getaway is ideal for couples or solo travelers seeking a peaceful retreat with a nostalgic twist. Enjoy your morning coffee on the outdoor deck or stargaze at night. Important note before you book: Guests are required to complete the Check-In Form provided by Brigadoon Vacation Rentals as a mandatory step to finalize their reservation. To ensure a smooth check-in process, a valid government-issued photo ID must be attached to the form.

A discount of 10% off for 6-9 nights and 15% off for 10 nights or more will automatically apply at booking. If you booked via Airbnb, the discount will already be included in the price and will not show as a separate deduction. For longer stays between 21-28 nights, we'll set up a mid-stay cleaning free of charge, and an additional $260 non-refundable fee will be applied to cover up to $3,000 in damage insurance, ensuring peace of mind during your extended stay.

It was a very clean and nice property. There was laundry available. It is a little outside of town but that is what we wanted. We wished we had more time to enjoy and spend at the property.

Great and unique property! I was very impressed with how the caboose was renovated and the small touches inside. Check-in was each once we received the information and was very nicely situated for the sights we wanted to see.

Amazing experience in a fantastic location at the doorstep of ONP. The renovation of the caboose was well done, with tons of little touches that showed the owners really care about the property and the comfort of the guests.
