Non Pakse Hostel

This place is well located in the city. The city center is just a few blocks away, and the city itself is not very big, so everything is within easy reach. The front desk clerk was very helpful and gave me some good advice during my stay. The place also has a kitchen that guests can use. As for the room, the beds are comfortable, the A/C works well, and the Wi-Fi is reliable. There are two showers available for guests on the same floor as the two dorms. However, when I was there, only one of them had hot water.

Here are a few things I want to point out so you can decide whether this place is right for you: 1. The toilets are located downstairs, on the main floor. 2. The stairs are very narrow, so you need to be careful when going up and down. 3. The floors are made of wooden planks. When someone walks around, the floor makes the beds vibrate. I found this quite disturbing when trying to sleep, as it felt like the movement was coming through the bed frame. 4. The hallway lights are motion-activated and turn on quite easily. Since the dorm wall facing the hallway is made of glass, the light also comes into the room and can be a little disturbing at night. I’m mentioning these points because I’m a light sleeper, so the noise and movement from the floor, as well as the hallway lights, were particularly noticeable for me. If you’re a light sleeper as well, this might not be the best place for you. For other travelers, these things may not be an issue at all.

Great location, friendly and helpful owner. Coffee and tea in the morning. Shower was great also. Beds are comfortable.

Everything was great

The host is incredibly friendly. The room is clean and full of nice vibes. They even offered free coffee. The next morning, the host gave me a free drop-off at the bus station. I’m really grateful and would give a full score of 10. This stay was such a warm highlight during my trip across Laos.

Os quartos são bastantes pequenos e com muito pouco insonorização. Gostava que houvesse uma área comum que não fosse na entrada do alojamento.
