Victor Harbor is located just a 5 minute drive away too, another hot tourist destination offering many more dining and entertainment options. Enjoy the walking trail of Granite Island or climb the Bluff, visit the whale centre, or play mini golf at Dunes Mini Golf by the horse drawn tram.

We had a fabulous stay for our two families. The living area is spacious with a huge TV, comfortable lounges and inside & outside tables to seat 8. The pool is large and there's a nice outdoor area with 4 comfortable lounge chairs.The kitchen is spacious with a butler's pantry. There's also a very usable laundry.The 3 upstairs bedrooms are a good size and the bathrooms tastefully decorated. However the 4th bedroom downstairs only fit the bed, which meant nowhere to hang clothes and not really the space for a suitcase. The second living area upstairs was spacious and there's a huge study downstairs too. All in all, the house is fantastic.But.... there are a number of very basic kitchen items which are missing. No champagne glasses, bottle opener, grater, small bowls for things like nuts/olives, bread knife, pepper grinder. These are all fairly inexpensive items which should be included. There are only 10 coat hangers in the whole house which clearly isn't enough for a 4 bedroom house.There's no hairdryer or iron, which should be included in a house of this calibre. As they are not mentioned on the list of amenities, bringing your own hairdryer is doable, however if you were getting ready to go to a wedding or the like, you don't want to have to travel with an iron and ironing board.Even taking into account the lack of these few basic items, we would definately recommend this house and will return. I hope the owner takes note and makes some purchases!
