This house is fantastic! Michael and Jeanie have done a wonderful job of keeping its historic charm, while also updating the main areas. The kids were intrigued by the "big box with a screen in it" (console TV/radio cabinet) and the laundry chute on the second floor.There was enough room (and then some) for our group of seven adults and four kids. The bedrooms and living room areas were spacious and inviting. The bathrooms were well-stocked with a generous supply of towels, washcloths, shampoo/conditioner, and other essentials. A fun surprise was the 2-in-1 second-floor bathroom (there's a tub/shower combo AND a separate shower)! Michael and Jeanie were excellent hosts - extremely welcoming of our big group (11). I appreciated the prompt, friendly communication, and the offer to let us check in a little bit early :-) They even provided some restaurant suggestions, history about the house, and gave us the inside scoop about the adorable toy store right across the street. (You should definitely check it out - so much nostalgia and a very friendly staff!) This is honestly one of the coolest houses I've ever stayed in, and we plan on staying there again next year!
