The perfect Smokies cottage would be the best description. Tucked in beautiful woods yet with all the conveniences. Pristine as far as clean and everything available and in order. Thoughtfully designed with lots of space and full bathrooms on both floors. Wrap-around deck is a great spot for morning coffee and to relax and visit after a day of hiking in the Smokies. The list of positives for the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and living spaces is extensive. The owner is very responsive, friendly and knowledgeable of all the workings and surrounding grounds. We'll rent again for a third time when we're back in the area again.

We had a wonderful time at thos cabin. This was a vacation for me and my mom. Cabin was easy to get to. Very clean and warm welcoming. Hoyse set up perfectly and everything you would need. Very clean and bed so comfy you fall asleep quickly. Great sitting on deck in rocking chairs. Definitly will rent again. This by far best cabin i have been in in the area.

We absolutely loved our weekend stay at Bear Acres Getaway! The location is just minutes from some of the best restaurants, hikes, and excursions in the area—we spent a beautiful morning in Cades Cove. There’s still so much we didn’t get to do, like tubing, mountain biking, and horseback riding, so we’re already looking forward to coming back in the summer.Kirk was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. The house was very well stocked, with plenty of linens and towels for our group of six. We were especially impressed that there was more than enough hot water for everyone—something that can be hard to find with a larger group!The kitchen was well equipped, and the living space felt cozy and perfect for spending quality time together. We also loved the wraparound upper deck—it was the ideal spot for relaxing and hanging out in the evenings.

Excellent communication from the host from the very beginning of the process. The cabin was exceptionally clean, cozy, and well appointed. A great value.Kirk even made sure there was a meat thermometer in the kitchen so we could cook our Thanksgiving turkey! We loved the privacy and the conveniences nearby as well. My family would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday!
