Modern 3B Eastbourne Retreat: Tranquil & Cozy Stay

Generally I liked our stay a lot. Beautiful lounge zone, big garden, nice design of rooms, I felt that everything is causy ("hugge") and would be happy to live in a house like that. Big TV in living room, game zone in lounge, they even had some pazzles and board games. Cute pink master bedroom with lights under the ceiling. My little 11 y.o. brother liked small dark bedroom. If they also had BBQ facilities we'd like it even more. But they were kind to allow us doing BBQ if we bring our own BBQ, we're very grateful for that and made sure we leave everything clean.

Shower facilities were not working well, the temperature regulator didn't work well and was not attached properly to wall, so it easily fell off hitting a leg of one of us. We reported it and got an instant reply, the plumber was called, but since we stayed only 2 nights we couldn't get it fixed so fast. We're ok with it, taking a shower was a bit difficult but possible, so it was not critical, it was a small minus. Probably they'll fix facilities later, and replace the shower hose/shower head as well. Maybe a thing that you need to know in advance is that any kind of gatherings, events and parties are strictly forbidden in the house, we got a message about it after the booking, we could get fined if they found any sign of a party. It was a bit surprising for us because gathering your family is a very popular reason to rent a house. So if you're searching for a house to host a family party inside, this is not allowed in this house, very quiet neighbourhood. (Well, unless they change something of course). One more little thing that you might want to be aware is that trains are coming very close to house and you can hear it loud in the night, almost every hour. Luckily, for me and my family it was OK, I didn't wake up because of it and slept well, it caused me just a little discomfort while falling asleep, but I slept well. Even my sensitive family members who usually like to complain about noise somehow didn't complain about it for 2 nights :) So it's just a little thing to be aware of, not critical at all.
