Best birthday getaway I've had in years

We loved absolutely everything about the Hideaway, it was the most beautiful wee place I have been in a long time, from the water features, to everything hanging on the walls , the beds were so comfy, the bar, everything was just such a vibe. the hosts were brilliant and so so friendly. I went for a last minute birthday getaway for one night and ended up booking another night, would definitely recommend.. would definitely stay again, any chance I get!! Thanks so much for having us!

It’s ticks all the box’s if you are looking for a quiet few days away from the madness of your everyday life , the cabins were lovely and warm on arrival and the showers were nice and clean and hot and the hot tub was amazing , added bonus was the pool table , dart board and karaoke machine in the bar area which also had a blazing hot fire ❤️

I really couldn’t find a fault in the property at all , the weather wasn’t great which made the hot tub even more appealing for us

Great place to stay even in the depths of winter and would definitely return

The venue is fantastic and has everything you need to have a great time celebrating a birthday or just some time away with the family. The house we stayed and had everything we needed and we made great use of the bar and hot tub! Grainne was a lovely host and couldn't have done any more for you. would definitely recommend and come back again.

There wasn't much but just a few tiny minor things is that the oven could have been cleaned a bit better as when used the burnt food from previous left a lot of smoke in the house. Also one of the beds was temperamental, it was a fold away bed and if you moved much it would fold away. Gave us a good laugh in the middle of the night but not great for sleeping on.

It was a beautiful location, very well decorated and finished off. Plenty to do - karaoke machine, darts, pool table, little bar, pizza oven etc. the hosts were lovely also

Very peaceful relaxing break away in beautiful surroundings

It exceeded all expectations, the attention to detail was top notch from making sure all the basics were covered to the quality of the decor. The Shebeen is like home away from home and the Ceili House was a quirky outside space with an open fire. Grainne & Pat are amazing hosts, very friendly and attentive to their guests. I would highly recommend The Hideaway. The adult only policy makes it ideal for a couples break, a girls getaway or larger hen/birthday parties etc.
