Hommory Residence - East Chalong

Exactly the type of accommodation I enjoy. Fresh, clean, with the right amount of space and all the essential amenities. Easy to access from the street, yet with a convenient entrance at the back where you can comfortably park a car or scooters. The location is relatively strategic — with your own transport you have quick access in every direction, which on this island is not only useful but practically essential (and honestly, also part of the fun). Communication with the host was good and helpful. The replies always came with care and clarity. The place feels well‑kept, peaceful and thoughtfully arranged. It made our stay in Phuket smooth and enjoyable.

We honestly didn’t experience any real drawbacks during our stay. We had read some reviews mentioning street noise — yes, there is a bit of it, and we noticed it when we arrived in the evening. But after exploring the whole island on scooters, the sound of the street simply blended into the local rhythm. By the second day it didn’t bother us at all. Late at night the street becomes quiet, and in the morning it wakes up slowly and not too early. We also saw comments about humidity issues in some accommodations around Phuket. This apartment had no such signs — everything felt fresh, clean and well‑maintained.

The size is perfect for a solo traveler/couple. The facilities are very clean and well looked after. The staff is also very helpful and responds quickly.

The drains have a slight smell, easily countered with air freshener.

Room arrangements. Parking.

Better to write the wifi password at the access card or on the room wall. Easy to use the access.

Everything about the apartment was good, the apartment was clean and comfortable.

To improve the apartment, it would be good to place another bin in the kitchen. The bathroom was clean however the plumbing had a bit of a bad smell. And to keep in mind the location in my opinion is far from the tourist places so you should consider renting transportation or taking a grap.
