I really enjoyed the dining area which is a covered colonnade and looks over green lawns to the river. Colourful butterflies and birds abound.
The highlight for me was the guided jungle walk with Marco as he has such a keen eye for spotting nature and his knowledge of the history of the area is extensive. It was wonderful to visit the church designed by the renowned architect Alejandro Bustillo and see the stained and etched glass windows.

This was a refreshing retreat from the crowds of Iguazu Falls. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. At the same time they respected our privacy and desire to soak in the peaceful surroundings.
We enjoyed a private walk to the nearby waterfall/swimming hole. The beauty and solitude of the jungle enveloped us.
We were delighted with the regional cuisine served at the onsite restaurant. And the waiter staff were friendly and helpful.
I would recommend communicating in Spanish with the staff, but the experience can still be enjoyed if you only speak English.
