Everthing was spotless and elegant. My wife and I were fascinated by the property. It was a 45 minute drive from Orvieto, should be made while still light, but was a beautiful drive through the Italian countryside. Our Deluxe Double room was comfortable and spacious. The bed was comfortable and there were gorgeous views from our room and the property. We arrived in time for a complementary wine tasting. Dinner was 33 euros and was worth it. Complimentary breakfast was very nice. We would definitely stay here again!!
No, we loved it!

Was just fantastic . Dinner was good quality and too much!!!!
Pool clean and refreshing .
This is not a complaint but just to inform . Our room had no air conditioning which we didn't need but maybe in July to September could mean having hot rooms . It's not a defect because in these old buildings it's not always possible to install .

The views are beautiful! But didn't feel like hotel was ready to have visitors for the season yet unfortunately
We came to Italy for the good weather and sunshine. Unfortunately were very disappointed with the hotel set up. Its a very remote location, so you don't really have a choice once you get there, as closest town is 40min drive. It's no bar area to sit down with the drink, no terrace.
We had meals served inside in the dark dining room, with shutters closed! Dead silence. It was only 3tables- 8 people. No ambience. No music. We thought we will get a menu, but been served lots of different dishes whatever waiter was bringing out of the kitchen! It felt like we were served wedding leftovers from the weekend. I don't even want to start with breakfast- it was just awful! When you get a fruit basket with 2 rotten peaches and banana in May in Italy, when you can find fresh fruit everywhere, that just simply unacceptable. We booked 4 nights and had to ask for a refund after 1st night.

Beds were a little stiff

The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is beautiful,
The pictures look much better than the rooms do. There is no other food choice than the hotel restaurant. It is reasonably priced, but definitely aims at serving quantity over quality. Breakfast is mostly prepackaged, which is disappointing. Access to the hotel is through a 3km off-road gravel access, so be mindful if you drive a low car/sports car

Lovely setting; very helpful staff; pleasant dining. I stopped here for a couple of days to recover from jet lag. It was a nice, relaxing spot to do that. With a decent restaurant and bar on site, there was no need to venture into Orvieto or Todi. I could simply relax and enjoy the pool and the gorgeous setting.
The rooms (at least mine) could use a bit of updating. The bath had been nicely updated, but the rest of the room seemed a bit antiquated. Still, it was comfortable and pleasant stay.

The surroundings, location and the medieval building itself was breathtaking. The restaurant served an amazing menu for reasonable prices.
The matrass of the bed and the bathroom wasn't very comfortable. There is nothing else nearby other then the hotel and restaurant.

Stunning location, really wonderful walks and a lovely room. The staff were so friendly and helpful and i felt very comfortable being there alone .
The bed was uncomfortable and the room hot . There is no ac and the ceiling fan is ancient so not effective. The food was good but limited and a fixed menu. Vegetarians are catered for but ask before and also, Umbria has very meat based cuisine with no fish. There are no restaurants around for miles. But, still, i ate well !

Food was good at the restaurant. The view is beautiful and the Tenuta di Salviano is a wonderful half a day trip to taste excellent wine.
I found this a disappointing experience. Compared to the rest of Umbria, Titignano is commercial and cold. It lost all charms and it's a money making machine. The pool was dirty and nobody was cleaning it, the staff is cold and disinterested. The rooms are old and dated (but modern bathrooms, those were very nicely updated).
I would never come back or tell anybody to come here.

I vini. La colazione. Il Pranzo. Andrea. Manuela. Carmen Francesca.
