Samar Retreat

La connexion

Nice apartament with atmospheric terrace on the roof with nice view where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning and sip wine in the evening. The apartments are spacious and pleasantly decorated, with comfortable beds. It's located in a quiet and secluded spot, which was a huge plus for us. In August the temperature was also pleasantly cooler compared to the rest of the island, which was a relief after a long day spent in much higher temperatures. Overall, the property has a lot of potential, and if it were better maintained (better cleaned). We received detailed instructions with PIN codes for entry via email, and there were no issues getting into the apartment.

We had a bit of trouble finding the entrance to the property, so it's worth adding a few details, for example, that the entrance is opposite the garbage cans and a bus stop on the left side of the road. The apartments were not well cleaned. More chairs on the terrace would have been helpful, as the table is large. There were only four chairs, and there were six of us, so two of us had nowhere to sit.
