Alarka Creek Oasis

Good location. Quiet and no problem.

The pictures must be old that are posted on the site. Interior: Firstly, the front door would only shut properly if you slammed it, HARD. The lock on the sliding door was broken. The first bath had a lovely looking shower/tub combo in the pics. First thing you see, when you enter is a sign telling you the Jets do not work and that was one of the draws for me. The other tub/shower combo? The exact same thing. Under the sink in the main bathroom was nasty with trash and cups for rinsing your mouth. The kitchen utensils with nasty, we had to wash them before we could cook. The microwave door is broken. The yard is unbelievably overgrown with limbs and flowers hanging everywhere. Bushes so badly overgrown that you couldn't see, what was once, an attractive well and yard. Some rotten places on the steps leading to the creek edge. The whole yard is in need an extremely good cleaning. Another thing I had been looking forward to was the hammock and boy was I disappointed. The thing was nasty with mold from top to bottom and looked to be in horrible shape. There are more things that I could list but these are just a few that made our stay not as enjoyable as we anticipated and had looked forward to. I don't usually write this kind of review but this house was misrepresented as a 10. Don't believe it! It will only allow me to post 4 pictures. I have more if needed.
