We spent three nights at this wonderful home in the quiet town of Cova/Gala. The three large bedrooms feature two comfortable king beds with ensuite bathrooms, plus a twin bed room as well. Each room has plenty of storage space. A spacious outdoor deck looking over a calm town square (with a surprisingly well stocked market) is connected to one of the king bedrooms up a small set of stairs. The bathrooms are sizable with showers or tubs. The kitchen is excellent and very well equipped, including two types of coffee makers. It's connected to the living room with a large screen TV. For very hot days, the AC works well in every room, lighting is very good, and the metal curtains can block out sunlight. There are a number of cafe/restaurants and more formal restaurants in the vicinity, plus the more extensive offerings of Figueira are just across the river, where one can drive, take the local bus, or even take the convenient ferry. Parking next to the house is free and easy. A string of lovely placid beaches is just a block away. The manager was very helpful and thoughtful, providing all the info we needed and even returning when we found the gas not working (someone had turned the pipe to the stove off). In short, if you want a relaxing place to stay in the area, with lots of beaches, this is a great place.

Nothing, it was all excellent though the deck could use some more comfortable chairs.
