Shoreditch Rooms

Convenient location for Shoreditch Half marathon. Near Old st station. Quite a busy street with takeaways clubs and restaurants. Timely information from owner. Great budget accomodation. Spotlessly clean. Keypad entry to front door and room. Steep staircases. I had separate shared bathroom, which wasn't a problem. Ample shower, toilet rolls and hair products provided. Shower room a little dated, some grout staining, but very clean. Generous sized double room with some great facilities- TV, fan, microwave, kettle, hairdryer, iron. Ironing board outside room to share. Table and 2 chairs. Very comfy bed. Spotlessly clean bedding and soft towels. Large wall mirror next to PowerPoints. Lamp. Ample points to charge phones and devices. My room, number 8 was very quiet despite it being on a busy street with constant traffic and nightclubs. Some low noise from extractor fan outside which stops overnight. Ear plugs were provided but not needed. Great WiFi. Would definitely stay again.

TV didn't have live channels, however owner responded very quickly to WhatsApp message. Wasn't resolved. But netflix available. Light on landing shines in around door, and curtains a little short - about 10cms on windows so light shines in from bottom of window. No one can see in as misted glass. Just the room is a little brighter by night.

I liked the email, with the photos and map of were the black door was. This was most helpful as I had been a little confused. The two rooms we had, comfortable and stylish Excellent touch to have air con and ear plugs.

This is a minor thing, the bathrooms were clean overall, but they could do with a deep clean as there was some limescale and soap scum build -up

Very convenient and great value for money

Location and communication was good

Very hot, shared bathroom (but we did know this). No toilet roll wasn’t ideal
