Das Gate zur Timbila Lodge ist direkt an der R40 und nicht zu verfehlen. Der Weg zur Lodge ist perfekt ausgeschildert. Timbila ist eine aussergewöhnliche Anlage mitten in der Natur und perfekt in die Landschaft integriert.
Die Unterkünfte sind neuwertig, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber Janke und Peter sind herzliche und offene Menschen. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Game Drives in die umliegenden Resorts und in den Krüger Nationalpark.

A lovely spot. Real bush atmosphere and sounds. Beautiful chalets and tents, with real colonial decor and touches. Very personal service and friendly staff. Nice food, snacks and a honesty bar. Main feature is the pearl rockpool. Next to a dam and a rocky hill, where the baboons play. Real gem.
