The place has a nice view, the location is indeed quite good and you do get a private room, which for the price is really good. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is quiet and has many restaurants and venues around.
The check-in process was a bit strange because you need to wait Erik at a McDonald's nearby. Then, since the property is inside a huge residential building, it is a bit stressful to get in and out, although there are so many people coming and going that there is always someone to open the door in the end, that is true. But yes, it can be hard to move around. Specially, for a short stay, I would say it is just too confusing with door codes, learning the lift (in Dubai they have floor numbers but also many other types of floors that are not Ground Floor but "P" for Plaza, "M", and other letters I didn't quite understand), and the check-in hassle. Also, I wouldn't recommend the Dubai Marina in general as a good place to stay. It is better to stay closer to the center. There is not much to do or to see in this part of town really. It is quite boring, I would say. And also it takes 30-40 min to get to the city center from here by metro. In the end, I stayed at a hostel near the financial area and this was the right call for a solo traveler

The place was clean especially the bathrooms and kitchen. The host was very responsive at all time and very friendly. Overlooking the Marina and had nice restaurants around. Next to the Tram station and a kilometre or so to the train station.
Rooms are super small - totally understandable at that price.
