Heerlijk rustig gelegen, geweldige aankleding en er was aan alles gedacht. Strandstoelen, strandhandoeken, koelbox, zeepjes en zelfs een koelblok. Prima bedden en lekkere regendouche

Wel veel muggen / steekvliegen dus neem deed mee als je er gevoelig voor bent

My girlfriend and I stayed in a spacious and beautifully-decorated 2BD/2BA unit named "Dos Playa". Very peaceful beautiful garden outside. Dora was out of town so all our interactions were with Florian who was very nice and responsive during our stay. We had some issues with our room and he quickly responded and fixed everything as fast as he could. He also stayed up late to check us in late due to a 3-hour flight delay on our way to Aruba. Luckily there was no one staying in the big suite on the property so Florian opened up the rooftop deck and private pool to everyone else during our stay...which was awesome and very generous. I would give Florian's hospitality a 10/10. Even though the property has 4 units sharing 1 common area, it felt very private. We loved the warm and tasteful decorations of the place. Very beautiful, especially the bamboo bedroom. Alto Vista is a nice little neighborhood area. Still only 15 minutes drive from Palm and Eagle beaches. (You definitely need to rent a car.). Daily cleaning is not included but we requested a special cleaning halfway through our stay and that was very good. We loved that they provided beach towels and beach chairs.

I didn't like how the shower ceiling was open. It's covered with a screen which keeps the bugs out (good). But the shower room gets super hot from the outdoor air, so you have to keep the bathroom door closed all the time. It can be a stark change going from the air-conditioned bedroom/kitchen areas to the hot bathroom and back. And you get a little sweaty just drying off from your shower or taking a dump, even at night. Our hot water and stove didn't work at first because our unit was out of gas. The place doesn't have a gas line going into it, it requires outdoor propane tanks to be routinely checked and replaced. So the owners will only know when to replace the tanks when the guests complain. There seems to be some cracks or openings in the unit where lizards (we loved them) and bugs (not so much) can get inside. The ones I saw were under the entry door, a crack near the kitchen window, and in the ceiling corner of the living room above the TV. We had some ants come that were interested in our trash in the kitchen so you have to be very careful with any food you have in the unit, which can be a bit limiting. Being from the city, we are not used to this. We didn't like that the sheets have polyester in them so they get very hot at night. We still had a very nice stay overall. The property is beautiful.
