The treatment I received from AdvantStay was awful! BEWARE this property DOESN’T ARTICULATE THE PET FEE AMOUNT ON THE LISTING OR IN THE ADVERTISED PRICE at the time of booking even though on the Booking.com site the “traveling with pets” toggle indicator is green. THE SIGNED AGREEMENT ALSO DOESN’T ARTICULATE THE PET FEE AMOUNT AT THE TIME OF SIGNING. Three days after my stay I received an invoice from AvantStay for a $300 pet fee charge for my 2 dogs. This is in addition to the $1300+ rental cost including a cleaning fee $288, and taxes I paid at the time of booking. I requested AdvantStay provide documentation stating the pet fee amount and they declined to provide. I’ve rented other properties many times with pets and never experienced deceptive practices like this from a property. In addition to the pet fee issue there were several amenities that were not in working order. I reported the issues on day 1 to the property and was told to check the breaker box myself. No breakers were tripped. None of the outlets on the kitchen island worked including the one the microwave was connected to. The video instructions to power on the arcade didn’t include the step to flip a power button located on the back of the console requiring moving the console out to reach. The pool light had an outlet switch and it didn’t power on the light. No instructions provided to also pull a tiny chain on the light itself. I received no help from the property on the arcade and pool light issues upon request, I figured out the issues myself. Overall poor experience!! NEVER again will I use Booking.com or AdvantStay!!
