Båtmansstugan i Gamla Stan

If I could give this place 15 stars I would. Everything was thoughtfully out together, the ambience is just perfect, the beds are comfy and it comes with bikes that made our stay so, so much better. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Het appartement is een oud zwweds huisje in de oude stadkern van Kalmar. Klein maar fijn! Een keuken met lang blad en volledig vooerzien. Er is meer dan je denkt: er zijn ook kastjes tegen het plafond (er is een handig oud keukentrapje), Het is echt voor maximaal 2 personen. Er zijn 2 fietesen; super handig. De bakker en ICA zitten om de hoek. Ook om de hoek: het Kalmar slot. En een paar meter verder het station en centrum. Parkeren doe je in de straat: elke dag een dag kaart kopen voor 20 kronen. Dat gaat veruit het makkelijkste met een parkeerapp. We zouden dit zondermeer opnieuw boken bij een evt volgend bezoek aan Kalmar.

Het huisje staat bij een splitsing van straatjes, met in de woonkamer aan 3 kanten ramen. Er lopen aardig wat mensen langs en 's avonds is er dus al snel 'inkijk'.

It's an absolutely wonderful little cottage which has been furnished with a lot of attention to detail. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean. Really marvelous. We loved our stay there. Parking was also no problem close by (20 SEK/day). We could also walk or take the bikes (which are provided by the owner) to the town center or surroundings. It is very close to the ocean and to the main attraction the "Kalmar slott".

Everything was perfect.
