May we introduce “The Enchanted Dawson House” named after Dawsonville’s founder William C. Smith 1798-1856. Crosby Dawson was a distinguished Georgian who played multiple roles in the state’s legal and political spheres. Borne in Greene County, Georgia, Dawson was educated at Franklin College which later became the University of Georgia and he studied law under the mentorship of prominent lawyers He was admitted to the bar in 1816 and quickly established himself as a respected attorney. Come learn more in The Dawson Room and read and feel the history. Each room of the home is dedicated to a historical family from the area even “The Burt Room” after the Burt’s Pumpkin Patch Farm and many more.
Our first location “The Enchanted Dawson House” is opening for bookings when God determines it will. Located in the spectacular North Georgia mountain base and near and dear to the heart of good shopping, dining, outdoor adventures, pumpkin farms, strawberry fields, sunflower fields. Leave to busy and slip away. Enjoy the fall leaves and come home to enjoy the fireflies and night time cozy bonfires. Don’t forget to take a short drive to Dahlonega voted, last year, as Hallmarks best Christmas destination. The venue is just 5 minutes from Dawsonville outlet mall. This Boutique style venue is like no other and loaded with every possible feature you could dream for in a space. Boasting a heated 38,000-gallon salt water Lagoon Resort Pool with slide and loads of sun decking, Outdoor bar and bonfire pit for roasting marshmallows and making memories. Enjoy the garden Spring through fall, the greenhouse loaded with flowers for picking and photo ops. All on a fenced level one acre home-site with no HOA.
