Relax Resort

The standard rooms are worth the money they charge. It's very basic and won't give you the feel of a resort. We had to upgrade it to the cottage rooms which felt a bit costlier but the rooms are very spacious and well maintained with all the facilities. So it was worth it. The swimming pool is big and nicely maintained. We booked this resort for our pre wedding shoot. The staff were cooperative and helped us. The location is on the beach so it was easy to complete our shoot. They arranged a bon fire setup for us for our shoot as well. The food options and timings were limited, so that was an issue. The breakfast buffet was good though. Overall it was a comfortable stay and satisfying experience.

Just booked this property online for a weekend trip. Pictures are very deceptive as the non cottage options are in a separate gated property woth no restaurant pool and sea facing acces( not mentioned in the add). The property is merely dilapidated and is completely not worth the money paid. The infrarstructure maintenanance is dismal. Photos attached as water was dripping from the ceiling and whole floor was with water with potential damage of guests belongings. The flowing water from the tap is very unvlean and with foul sewage smell indiacting no maintenance and cleaning of overhead tanks or possible mixing with sewage connections. The bed mattress was the hardest mattress we have ever seen in our lifetime(almost like concrete). Pillows were cheap quality. Bed linen and towels were still clean and okay. Weird rules were to kick out the guest from the dining and swimming pool area from 10.30pm onwards( as soon as restaurant closed) as they said our room belonged to another property of the same owner(same name resort in the exact same location). Food(lunch and dinner) was mediocre and portions were miserly at an expensive pricepoint( aloo posto (jhol) served in small dessert bowl with 2-3 cubes of potato in swimming posto jhol charged 130 rupees!!!) Breakfast was still okay. Staff are polite with no rude behaviour and some of them were very cooperative. Pool is probably the only plus point to make it deserve the single star. I would not visit this property again unless Owner really bring in some contructive corrections.
