Locquenole - maison avec vue mer

This is the second time we have stayed in this lovely house. It is in the small village of Locquernole, between Carantec and Morlaix. The house has sea views from all the windows so very nice to wake up in the morning. We were lucky with the weather. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a weeks stay. Comfortable sitting room and lovely sun room/dinning room. It was easy for us to collect the keys from a lockbox so no problems if you need to arrive late. The little village has a bar that also sells a few groceries and a lovely restaurant you can walk to. For more shops Carantec is a 15 minute drive away and has a good market on a Thursday. Morlaix is nearby, has a Saturday market and lots of little shops and bigger supermarkets. We love the area as it is only 30 minutes from the Brittany ferry at Roscoff. We did a boat trip, 15 minutes across to the Ille de Batz from Roscoff. we will happily stay here again. Claire who manages the property was very helpful and kept in touch.

It was a bit difficult to know how to turn the heating on, no instructions, but eventually worked it out. As other people have said the stairs are a bit steep, so it would not be suitable for small children. I also think they could do with some new pillows as they were not that comfortable. But very small things that did not at all affect us loving the house.

Excellent location and lovely quiet place to stay with easy access to nearby towns to explore. Thanks for a great stay
