Property was perfect!

This is a very good apartment in a prime location in Caleta de Fuste. It is spacious, especially for two people, and well equipped. The bathroom is good, despite a slightly sticking door, with a great shower. The bedroom is nice and the bed was very comfortable even for an oldie like me. The kitchen is very good with pretty well everything that you might like. The microwave/combi oven was particularly useful. There is a large patio which will be good in warm weather (we didn't get much) and there is an additional seating area through the front door: both areas have table and chairs. The washing machine came in very handy and there is ample space to hang your washing out to dry. Good WiFi is always welcome and the apartment had this with fast streaming. There is a communal pool with plenty of sun-loungers which looked to be a sun trap and this would be a real plus point in hotter times of year. We were there in February/March which is really hot so the lack of air-conditioning wasn't a factor. There is no dedicated parking but plenty of on street parking once you find your way around. A Hyperdino is just down the road for fresh bread and pastries and a very good Lidl is just 5 minutes drive away; and notably much cheaper. A special shout out for El Diablo Majorero, a coffee and snacks shop just on the corner where you can get a good "non-English" breakfast. If you prefer a fry-up there are plenty of opportunities. We weren't aware of any real noise throughout our stay so this would not be a problem for those seeking a bit of quiet. If we return to Caleta in the future this apartment would be our first choice. The manager of the apartment is Laura, who we never met but was very helpful and friendly when we needed a bit of advice and provided comprehensive information about the apartment and its facilities.

This is a general issue with most accommodation in the Canary Islands but there is no access to British TV channels, Sky Sports etc. Simply be aware of this and bring tablet with VPN, firestick etc if you want to watch TV.

We stayed for 5 nights in February , it was in a great location bars and restaurants on the doorstep but was still peaceful in apartment, the facilities were great had everything you could possibly need and communication with Laura was quick and good , would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Spacious good pool area and close to all amenities. Great shower very powerful and hot.

Location of apartment was in a corner area with no sun on the terrace. Bedlinen slightly fusty smell. Floor wasn’t very clean on arrival with no cleaning equipment or cleaning products. A lack of toilet rolls, no bin bags and no coffee capsules.
