On booking we informed the host both via a message and in a phone call that we would be arriving late, as we were going to watcha football match and would be delayed leaving the stadium. The host said we couldn't self check in and the latest check in would be 10pm which we said we couldn't do. We then asked him to cancel the booking which he wouldn't do, if he had cancelled we could have looked for an alternative. He then said he would wait. We informed him when we were on route to the house. Then with no warning he took full payment and cancelled the booking. Meaning we had no where to stay and had to sleep in the airport. I was extremely disappointed as his motivation was only taking our money and not being a helpful host.

Beautiful, modern and clean apartment

Very clean and calm apartment in a safe neighbourhood with a walking distance of 35 minutes to the airport Marseille and 10-15 minutes to the next supermarket carrefour city. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, newly renovated bathroom, easy check in-out and friendly staff. The apartment was located on the top floor of a four-story building. For our group, this posed absolutely no issue, as we were all traveling with backpacks and there were no elderly persons among us. Should you choose to stay in this apartment, we advise bringing only weightless luggage and considering that any elderly individuals in your party would have to ascend four flights of stairs. Furthermore, for those who want to visit Marseille city, please be aware that the apartment is not located near the old town of Marseille and does not have a direct connection to public transportation. You would need to transfer several times and it would take you approximately an hour to reach the old town. We opted to book an Uber to visit old town of Marseille which cost around €25 one way. As we visited our family living in Vittroles we looked for a place which was close to our family and to the airport. If you look as well for a place in Marseille that is outskirt, calm, closed to the sea and the airport, this apartment is definitely a great option. We have had a very good time and enjoyed our stay and would book it again if we would travel to Marseille another time.

Great location but fourth floor and not enough air conditioning, I would not stay in the summer again.

Location was great. Five minutes from tha airport, five minute walk to the water. Very quiet and safe location. Spacious and clean.

Property is a three bedroom apartment on the fourth floor with no elevator. It also only has a small split system by the entrance so only the family room gets any kind of air conditioning. It was 95 degrees F and no a/c in the bedrooms. There were fans in each bedroom but it was incredibly hot and sticky.

The bedrooms were unbearably hot and there were 4 flights if stairs (no elevator), so not good for elderly people.

Bad and unsafe apartment, rude owner

There was nothing to like about this apartment

To start with, the Apartment is on the third floor. So you have to be ready to climb the stairs all the way to the top, as there's no elevator In the building. You'll be worse off if you have a luggage. The environment where the apartment is located is remote, and doesn't feel safe. It looked like what the Americans will call "projects" with so many people living there you can barely find a parking space. Then worse of all, the owner of the apartment was so rude. We just got out of the cruise ship in Marseille on 26th May 2025, and my brother and his wife, were flying immediately to Paris. We booked an apartment for the remaining six of us to spend the night before heading out to Paris the next day. Before I got there, I pre-informed the owner that we needed to come drop our bags and leave. Because we needed to go hv lunch, and then my brother and his wife will leave from there to the airport. But as soon as we got there, the owner started yelling at us, saying it's six and not eight. We told him that we are only six but he was still shouting and yelling. We even had to use Google Translate to put it on Google translator that we are only six, the other two are on their way to the airport after we go out to have lunch. He was also mean to my 80yr old Dad, who pleaded with him to use the restroom as he needed to wee. But the owner refused. As if that wasn't enough, he was speaking French and supporting the Uber taxi guy that brought us to his apartment to charge us more than the fare in the uber app. We eventually reported the Uber guy to Uber. The guy refused to give us access to his apartment and he still refused to refund us. It was an overall bad experience for us.

Hôte accueillant et disponible ! appartement tel que décrit, sans aucune mauvaise surprise, avec des literies très adaptées, des équipements très bien et l'ensemble confortable et fonctionnel !

Petit bémol pour la localisation, notamment des places de parking, mais ce n'est vraiment pas rédhibitoire, loin de là. Pour être complet, l'appartement est au 4ème étage sans ascenseur (prévoir du souffle pour monter)

A éviter en été !

Appartement refait. Très correct.

Appartement plein soleil. Température très élevée en intérieur, invivable en été. Impossible de dormir, et volets ouverts très très bruyant : station de lavage en dessous de l'immeuble, autoroute et on entend les avions décoller. De plus, savoir que c'est un 4eme étage peut être utile du fait qu'il n'y a pas d'ascenseur !
