Greens at Copper #219

The unit was clean, conveniently located, and had plenty of space. The bed’s mattress was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and utensils, microwave, toaster oven, and full size fridge. Support staff were very responsive by text and on one occasion by phone. They made a good effort to react to a problem I’ll describe below.

My first night, in the middle of the night, I was woken by someone coming into the apartment. This was quite a shock. The next morning I spoke with a staff member who looked into what had happened. Apparently, another guest had been given a working door code for the same room, even though they had cancelled their reservation (presumably before I made my reservation.) The staff member asked whether there was anything he could do to make my stay more comfortable. I asked whether there was an option to store my luggage during the day, and he graciously offered late checkout up to 5 p.m. This was a big help for me -- otherwise I would have had to ask a ski rental shop to keep my luggage while I skied during the day. This raised my overall rating for the stay to good/very good despite the substantial disruption. I recognize that mistakes happen, and a good response makes a big difference.

It was in a great location. A lot closer to the Super Bee Lift than I originally anticipated. It was so cozy as well. A true mountain lodging experience.

I have no dislikes about the property. Maybe the ski locker rooms could use an upgrade but other than that, everything was great about our stay.

My biggest complaint is that I registered for parking and when I left I still got a parking ticket. I called the owning company of the hostile but they said they have nothing to do with parking. I’ve spent three hours trying to dispute those charges with Copper Mountain but it was eventually resolved.
