The hotel was very clean and tidy and the service throughout was excellent. The food in the restaurant was excellent and plentiful. The staff were very good and attentive
There seemed to be a bit of confusion around payment at the hotel using a credit card. Initially, the staff in the restaurant said that payment by a foreign credit card was not possible which, in itself was not a probem. However when the same stance was taken by the Receptionist in respect of settling my hotel bill it caused some alarm for me as I am not in the habit of carrying vast amounts of cash in a foreign country. It turned out that the staff were wrong in this case and I paid using my Mastercard. Could have done without the sttress!
