Large room with a peep of the lake. Spotlessly clean and a great shower. Beds were very comfy with clean crisp linen. Loved the soap and shampoo provided. Very friendly reception staff at the GODLEY. When the tv remote didn’t work they came immediately to change the battery.
Only 3 teabags and only two cups. No chopping board. We didn’t want to cook but cups of tea and cutting up some fruit was limited! Also, for a dark sky location it was surprising that we could not turn off the stairway lighting which shined under our door all night. Simple fix to change to a security light that only comes on if someone is using the stairs.

Friendly helpful staff at check in. Comfortable bed, plenty of extra bedding, efficient heatpump. Facilities very good, great shower. Location excellent.
We couldn't find anything wrong, good value ,clean room. Perfect for 1 night.

Location is good. Bed comfortable.
No bathroom heater, Tekapo is very cold in winter. Very noisy bathroom extraction fan, neighbour's was on all night, hard to sleep. Non IT people find new streaming TVs almost impossible to get to work, simplify them. Very expensive for what is a basic motel.
