Bohemian City Retreat met Zwembad bij Punda

A very nice apartment, a cosy bedroom, a very comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom and a well equipped kitchen plus a little pool on a private terrace - perfect for a couple on holiday. And everything: beaches, basic shops, a bus stop, even the sea aquarium within walking distance.

Un sitio muy lindo, con todo lo necesario para estar bien unos días, cerca a las zonas hostoricas, el anfitrion siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudar y fue fácil la comunicación.

The apartment is an excellent place to stay in Willemstad. A lot of nice restaurants on walking distance. Same applies for the area around the swinging bridge (20 mins walk). The kitchen is nicely equipped, so we could easily make our breakfasts! The AC in the bedroom works properly and quick, so this was comfortable during night time. We jumped into the swimming pool every afternoon with a drink after exploring the island, really nice!

We booked the apartment for 5 nights, so we stayed quite a while and we noticed a few things that might be nice to know upfront: - The barking dogs (even though part of the culture) can be quite disturbing both during the day and night. - The apartment is upstairs and the connection with the lower floor is made with a door/hatch only. This means you can overhear the conversations of the below neighbours very clear and detailed. It wouldn’t refrain us from coming here again, but we believe it adds to the context of the listing!

Das Apartment ist wunderschön eingerichtet und entspricht zu 100% den Fotos. Pfiffiges, farbenfrohes Interieur und eine tolle Dachterasse mit Pool, die zum Verweilen einlädt. Der Check in via Schlüsselbox war unkompliziert. Binnen 10 Minuten zu Fuß ist man im Herzen von Pietermai und Punda. 4 Kaffekapseln und 1 Flasche Wein zum Check in haben uns sehr gefreut.

Wir haben das Apartment für 5 Tage gebucht. Uns war nicht bewusst, das es in der Nachbarschaft 7 Hunde gibt, welche es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht haben, die ganze Nacht durch zu bellen... Mit freundlicher Unterstützung von krähenden Hähnen und nächtlichen Motorradrennen in der Nachbarschaft. Das war wirklich sehr, sehr schade. Das Apartment an sich ist wirklich sehr hübsch, allerdings hat uns die nächtliche Lärmbelästigung schon sehr zugesetzt. Wir haben während unserer 4 wöchigen Reise noch in 3 weiteren Domizilen gewohnt und alle anderen Unterkünfte waren deutlich ruhiger, sogar inmitten Otrobanda.
