6 Mi to Waterrock Knob: 'Serenity Cottage'

The closeness to Maggie Valley. Beds were comfy. Porch swing was a plus. Big windows. Very cute fireplace simulator. Good AC. They provided soap coffee and laundry detergent.

Very small bathrooms. My friend slipped and fell in the tub. It gets very slick when it gets wet. The cleaning was lacking indoors and out. The shower door had soap scum on it. The cleaning and pet fee are to high when I end up leaving the rental as clean or cleaner than what it was on arrival. No extra trash bags were provided. The filter coffee pot had old moldy coffee still inside. I didn't realize there is a house in front and behind you.

The cabin was lovely and well kept. Loved the covered porches. Clean and comfortable. The property owner sent a welcome text a couple hours before arrival, which was a nice touch.

No complaints.

The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, with amazing views of the mountains. The kitchen window view alone is breathtaking — you can enjoy your morning coffee while looking out over the Smokies. The house is cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making it a perfect mountain getaway. We can’t wait to come back!
