Bomonti Residence charming flat

All good. We’re happy there. We definitely would choose this flat again when back in Istanbul. It’s as other reviewers have mentioned and more. We didn’t have any issues. Sevgi was wonderful and helpful. Furnitures were different from the listing (possibly photos taken from a different flat on diff floor). It was an elevated ground floor flat. About 8 steps of stairs. Higher flats can be accessed via a lift. Secure and safe. Access on front door from the pedestrian, either with key or keypad. Dryer available to use in the basement. We’re worried about AC being only in the living room as we stayed at the peak of summer time, but it worked great for us, it cooled down the whole flat perfectly.

Not disliking but some tips for future tenants. Because of the way the shower built. When having a shower, properly ‘tucked in’ the shower curtain so that the water doesn’t escape onto the floor outside of the shower. Really strong water pressure, just be mindful of the shower curtain and the water. Front door, not the flat door, is a strong, heavy duty iron door (the green one). A proper classic door, they don’t make it like that anymore these days, when you shut it. Please don’t let it go, it can be really loud. Hold it down and shut it gently (or maybe it’s just us worrying that it made such a loud noise and that we didn’t want to disturb others).

The owner is exceptionally kind and welcoming, which makes the stay feel both personal and comfortable. We actually stayed here last year as well, so this is our second time choosing this place, and that in itself says a lot about how satisfied we are. It truly feels good to return to somewhere you know you will be well taken care of. Since we had stayed here before, we were also kindly allowed a late check-out, which we greatly appreciated. It gave us a much more relaxed departure and showed their flexibility and consideration for returning guests. The staff are genuinely warm and thoughtful. They always ask politely before entering the room to clean, making sure it suits us first. That level of respect and attentiveness creates a very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay.
