We had an exciting long weekend at the lake house. We got to enjoy watching the Blue Ridge Independence Day Fireworks show from the dock. Kids enjoyed jumping in the lake and kayaking on the two kayaks provided by the owners. There is a designated platform with a ladder on the right side of the dock for swimmers. The views from the house are incredible. Bring all your meals with you because once you are there- you will not want to leave to go to a restaurant.

We had an amazing weekend, the house is very comfortable, located just 15 minutes from all the activities in Blueridge, "Funky Little Lake House" is also very comfortable, with everything you need to have a nice few days, even a bag of marshmellows to enjoy by the campfire. Our host Tess was very kind, offering information about all kinds of activities that can be done and making our stay phenomenal. I definitely recommend it and we'll be back for next fall.
