Inside, sunlight fills the living spaces, creating a warm and inviting place to gather, unwind, and recharge after a day outdoors.
The home features four thoughtfully arranged bedrooms, offering both comfort and flexibility for families and groups.
On the first floor, you'll find two bedrooms. The first includes a full-over-twin trundle bed and provides walk-through access to the primary bedroom, which features a California king bed. The downstairs bathroom has also been fully updated as of early 2026, adding a fresh, modern touch. Upstairs, an open sleeping area with two twin beds is ideal for children or additional guests, while a separate fourth bedroom offers a cozy queen bed for added privacy. A full bathroom on the second floor provides added convenience for guests staying upstairs.
Throughout the home, heat pumps provide air conditioning during the warmer summer months, helping maintain a comfortable and refreshing space after time spent in the sun. The house in the woods was a great place to stay if you want to get away with your family. It is very private, quiet, peaceful. We enjoyed sitting outside with the view of the water (and seeing the bald eagles fly by). The house was very clean, had large bedrooms and a large kitchen. The host was quick to get back to us when we had a question. It was also within about 30 minutes to Acadia and Bar Harbor. One drawback is the only way upstairs is using the spiral staircase. It might be a little difficult for young children or the elderly. We will definitely be back!

The house was odd, with some additions that made the layout unusual. The most disappointing was the lack of a dresser in the master bedroom and no closet in the upstairs bedroom. There weren't good places to keep your stuff. The bathrooms were really small too, which is odd for an otherwise big house.

We enjoyed our week in this lovely home. It is super well-equipped and very convenient to both Blue Hill and Acadia and what a lovely view! Very quiet and relaxing.

The location of the house is beautiful, peaceful and very quiet.Communication was great. The inside of house was clean, but all (4) of us felt the house needs TLC. It felt disjointed & tough to navigate as ‘older’ adults.
