About this lodge
- Welcome to Almost Heaven Ranch, where rustic charm meets modern comfort in the heart of the picturesque Boone, North Carolina mountains.
- Nestled on a horse ranch with virtually no neighbors, this unique property offers privacy, tranquility, and an authentic cowboy-themed getaway.
- HORSES WILL RETURN IN APRIL-ISH OF 2025
- 4 Wheel Drive recommended during winter months
- NO SNOW REMOVAL IS PROVIDED ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY
- Pet friendly for additional fee
- TWO SEPARATE UNITS, ONE RENTAL!
- Lodge has 6 beds total. 1 king, twin over full bunk bed with twin trundle & two twin rollaway beds
- Guesthouse has one King bed
**SPECIAL NOTE**
- After the main gate, you will drive through where the horses and mini mule roam.
They may get close to you and seem like they're trying to get out of the gate, but
they probably just want a carrot. lol
- They can go through the gate that leads to the lodge, but not the main gate out at
Almost Heaven road.
- The horses can be removed and put in the pasture if they are not wanted.
everybody wants them to be around though!
- HEATING SPECIAL NOTE..In the winter it can get
brutally cold here! I'm talking like zero degrees
and wind. We have a kerosene monitor heater in
the den (in addition to the fireplace) that will
keep it and the front bathroom and kitchen
warm. The master bedroom also has a fireplace
and TWO electric space heaters available. It has
gotten cold enough in the past to where the
fireplace and space heaters couldn't keep up. It is
rare but has happened. Be sure and check the
weather for Boone. We're actually 1,200 feet
above Boone so it gets even colder, windier and
has more snow.
DO NOT MOVE SPACE HEATERS AROUND!
IT WILL TRIP THE CIRCUIT BREAKER AND BOTH HEATERS WILL NOT WORK!

Gorgeous house. Beautiful views. Horses on the property that you can pet. Carport connected. Private “in law suite” with small kitchen and bathroom. All the amenities one might need. Awesome communication with owner. Responds quickly and is very helpful. Donor hesitate and rent this house. If you rent in the winter with possible ice or snow, you will want to drive a 4 wheel drive of some sort.
